Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pilates Instructor to join our team. As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group classes and providing personalized instruction to clients. Your expertise in personal training, program design, and sports coaching will help clients achieve their fitness goals while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct group Pilates classes, ensuring proper form and technique
- Provide individualized instruction to clients based on their fitness level and goals
- Design and implement effective Pilates programs for clients of all ages and abilities
- Educate clients on the principles of Pilates and the benefits of regular practice
- Incorporate other fitness modalities such as kickboxing, cycling, and yoga into classes as appropriate
- Assist with fitness sales by promoting Pilates classes and packages to new and existing clients
- Maintain a clean and organized studio space
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Pilates techniques
Requirements:
- Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization
- Experience in personal training, program design, or sports coaching
- Strong knowledge of body mechanics and anatomy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively instruct and motivate clients
- Experience teaching group fitness classes is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
